Industry Standards and Codes for Photoluminescent Products

A number of groups have developed industry standards and building codes for the creation of and installation of photoluminescent products.

  • New York City, Local Law 26 (requires PL products in highrise structure 75’ and taller)
  • International Building Code, Exit Path Markings, Exit Signs
  • California Building Code, Floor-Level Signs and Path Markings
  • Connecticut State Building Code, Floor Proximity Path Marking Devices

ICC Hearing
